Gordon Gillies
was born and raised on the Kennebec River and has been a registered
Maine Guide for many years. He lives on the shore and particularly
enjoys cruising the River at first light when the fishing is often the
best. He well remembers when this river was an environmental mess and
takes new pleasure in its recovery. In his company you will see eagles,
osprey, and seals galore. A retired officer in the U.S. Coast Guard,
Gordon is a U.S.C.G. licensed captain, a former lawyer and teacher.
Peter Fallon
lives on the Kennebec River and has guided saltwater fishermen since he
was old enough to have his Coast Guard Captain's license. When not
guiding in the Northeast, he fishes from Labrador to the Bahamas and
bird hunts across America. The flies he ties are works of art...that
work. He is a former boarding school dean and teacher of environmental
science and outdoor education.
Teaching is in both of our backgrounds. We share thirty five years'
combined experience instructing in the classroom, in the outdoors and
on the athletic fields.
